Please join us on November 25th from 3-5pm to celebrate the launch of Growing up in Athens!  We will have books for sale and many of the writers will be here so you’ll be able to get your book signed while enjoying selected readings and light refreshments. This event is free and open to the public and will be held here at the Southeast Ohio History Center, 24 W. State Street, Athens, Ohio.

Mail orders will be sent out after the 25th as well.Books will be for sale in the Museum Shop of the Southeast Ohio History Center starting November 24th, 2017.

Growing Up in Athens: A Collection of Memories is a gorgeous limited edition 8.5×11 full color 350-page coffee table book being published by Orange  Frazer Press, Wilmington, Ohio.

This book is the culmination of two years of work by the Growing up in Athens committee who collected stories, poems, photographs, music and more! Stories from Athens area residents that will entertain, inspire and touch the hearts of all who call this community home! It is filled with unique photographs and the memories of folks who grew up in Athens spanning the 1920s through 2000s.

We are printing a limited number. There will be no reprinting. The book is $50 (includes tax) if picked up at the Southeast Ohio History Center. All proceeds from sales go to benefit the Southeast Ohio History Center.
