May 25th at 6:00pm at the SEO History Center Athens Historic Preservation Commission and Southeast Ohio History Center hold National Registry of Historic Places Nomination Process Presentation In recognition of May as Historic Preservation Month, the Athens Historic Preservation Commission and the Southeast Ohio History Center are sponsoring a presentation that will show the process by which buildings are added to the National Register of Historic Places. This presentation will take place Thursday May, 25, at 6:00pm, in the Great Hall at the Southeast Ohio History Center, located at 24 West State Street in Athens. Dana Cress and Aaron Swickard, both of the Ohio History Preservation Corps, who are currently surveying buildings for inclusion in historic districts, will give the presentation.
