The Museum Store (formally the Gift Shop) will be closed starting Friday, March 17th till our Grand Opening on April 15th. We will be rebuilding the exhibit, library and store space during this time and hope that you find the new spaces extraordinary and well worth the wait!

You will find a new section of vintage toys like blow up globes, kites, jacks and pop guns, which bring back great memories of play in a time before electronics. 

Beautiful colored fans to keep you cool this summer-

We have custom etched glassware, products from local artists like Red Tail Design Co. and favorites like the Athens Asylum clothing line. The book collection has grown and we are getting new titles in each week.

Many of the new items in the Museum Store will be linked to our new exhibits. Vintage quilt canvas bags, poppy etched glassware and collector military figures.

Our regular hours once we are open will be posted on this website so keep an eye out.  General public hours will be Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00-4:00pm for museum store, exhibits and administrative offices.  Collections will be opened by appointment and Library/Genealogy Center hours will be coming soon.
