We have now begun the gargantuan task of moving the Exhibits and Collections Department.  They will be the first to relocate to the new Southeast Ohio History Center, located at 24 W. State Street here in Athens.

Many people are working non-stop inventorying, cataloging and preparing the mountain of boxes that will be moved to our new location.

The Museum exhibit space is now closed to the public at 65 N. Court Street.  Check back here at our website to get updates on opening dates and more moving news!

The research library and the gift shop are still open at 65 N. Court and will be until further notice!  Please come on in to do your genealogy and pick up unique and local gifts.  Gift shop open Tue.-Sat. noon to 4pm, Library open from Tue.-Fri. noon to 4pm, Saturdays by appointment only.
