Genealogy Chapter Meeting Oct. 16th

If you are one of the millions working on finding your family history/genealogy, we invite you to attend the Athens Chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society meeting which will be held this Monday, October 16th at 7:00pm.  The meeting will be held in the Hayes Family Genealogy Center located in the Southeast Ohio History Center on the second floor. Elevator service and free parking is available.

The Athens County chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society meets to discuss how to further research, work on reference materials like official records, cemetery books and to help newcomers learn how to best locate records and people from their family tree.  There are also reference books for sale on marriages, deaths, church records, obituaries and other valuable records to assist you in your quest for you own personal history!
