It’s time again to dust off that beer stein and get ready for a whole bunch of excellent craft brews! This year we here at the Southeast Ohio History Center are offering 19 tour opportunities and a new temporary exhibit of a working moonshine still.
This year’s tours include
Bars and Buildings of Uptown Athens, the Ohio University College Green, and the Athens Asylum on the Ridges.
During Brew Week the gift shop will be open at 24 W. State Street and will have limited merchandise available. Our very popular Athens Asylum tee shirts will be on sale as well as our brand new commemorative “A Little Shot of History” glasses! Shot glasses will be on sale for $5 with optional free samples of moonshine for shot glass holders! A Moonshine still will be on display all week for visitors to see how the infamous spirit is made.
Cost for all tours are $15 per/person for non ACHS&M/SEO History Ctr. members, $10 for members.
Please call and preregister if possible although this is not mandatory.
