Greetings ACHS&M Members!
The Athens County Historical Society and Museum’s Annual meeting will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Shade Community Center, 2380 Old US Rt. 33, Shade OH. There will be a small number of lunch tickets available at the meeting but reservations are encouraged!
Dinner will begin at 2:00pm, business meeting starts at 2:30pm. To reserve tickets for the lunch call 740-592-2280. Tickets are $15ea. We can take payments over the phone by bank card.
MEETING ADMISSION IS FREE to all current members. You do not need a reservation to attend the business meeting.
There is much new to talk about- The Southeast Ohio History Center, new ideas and programs and how we can take history into the future!
New at this year’s Annual Meeting we will have several drawings for prizes from our gift shop so you won’t want to miss out! (Lunch tickets are not required for drawings.)
Meeting Agenda: 1. Call to order. 2. Introduction of board members. 3. Reports. 4. Recognition of volunteers. 5. Introduction of nominees for trustee vote. 6. Election. 7. New business. 8. Adjournment. 9. Program & tour of Chester/Shade Community Center.
