IT’S OFFICIAL- The Athens County Historical Society and Museum will be moving to 24 W. State Street in early 2016!
We have secured a buyer for our current location at 65 N. Court Street so plans are proceeding with the renovation and move of ACHS&M to the 1st Christian Church location.
The Museum, Library and gift shop will continue to be open to the public through the holiday season. We have a lot of wonderful seasonal displays along with the ever popular Gingerbread contest this year planned for December.
