Join Dan Rowbotham, Director of the Madog Center for Welsh Studies at the University of Rio Grande for an introduction to the Welsh Settlement of Gallia and Jackson counties.

Since 1818, Southeast Ohio has been home to one of the largest Welsh Settlements in North America, to this day, Southeast Ohio is home to North America’s only Welsh Studies Center, North America’s oldest Welsh Museum, 64 miles of Welsh Scenic Byway and the only School Eisteddfod on the continent.
